Inspections & Training
Inspections
¬ You Get what you Inspect, Not what you Expect ¬
The Owner of any Fuel Facility is always desiring in knowing if it is designed and operating in compliance with International Standards.
The more efficient and effective way to get this information is by the performance of a comprehensive international inspection based on Industry and Company Standards, such as JIG. This kind of inspection can provide the tool for evaluating the level of compliance to the Standards and the assessment of operational integrity.
Based on that, it can reveal the size of risk exposure and consequently the magnitude of liabilities of the Owner, but also the way to significantly reduce these liabilities by providing a list of practicable and cost effective recommendations in eliminating these risks.
Moreover, the inspection can also provide the vehicle for continuous improvement of the facility.
OFC Technical not only is competent in carrying out JIG type of inspections, but can prove the full understanding and implementation of JIG Standards by the 25+ years of performance of its major Shareholder, OFC Aviation Fuel Services S.A., holding all JIG Certificates of Excellence and Sustained Performance Awards (SPA) without interruption, from 2008 up to today, with the highest distinction, considering also that all JIG Inspectors reported zero recommendations.
In addition to OFC operational excellence, our extensive experience in performing inspections throughout the aviation fuel supply chain (refinery, pipeline, road / rail tank truck and vessel transportation, intermediate fuel terminal, airport depot, hydrant, into-plane) assists our Customers to reduce exposure and to operate cost-effectively and in line with the applicable operating standards and manuals.
Last but not least, we have supported our Customers to achieve same performance as in OFC, by achieving JIG highest rating during JIG inspections.
